Four talks cover basin evolution, petroleum system development and potential, and clastic and carbonate reservoir development in three sub-basins with distinctly different subsidence histories.
Our Project methodology was governed by the Exploration Pyramid Framework, characterizing the key risks and uncertainties specific to the basin and describing Play Elements required for economic success in the basin:
- Trap Size
- Large Fetch areas with a significant migration focus
- The likely presence of an effective reservoir in the trap
- Water depth
- Depth-to-target
We have parameterized success in the basin at the level of the Play Fairway and Initial Leads.
